Had a fantastic start to our four week "M&M" - Mindfulness & Meditation - taster sessions last night..over 20 people have signed up which is great! And having Dr April Nunes Tucker onboard for the meditation aspect is brilliant. The opening topic was 'Directing attention' - what attention is and learning to really focus attention on the physical body. Lots of awareness-type exercises followed culminating in a lovely grounding meditation. Everyone looked much more serene afterwards! And lots of positive feedback! Next week we're looking at the breath and the effect it has on both the mind and the body.
